Arthur E. Reynolds, Jr., age 83, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Mary B. Reynolds, passed away peacefully surrounded by his three loving daughters Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in the Bronx, and raised in Brooklyn, the son of the late Arthur and Jean Reynolds, he had been a Fairfield resident since 1968. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of the Holy Cross. Following graduation, Mr. Reynolds served in the United States Army in Germany. His career in finance included positions as a security analyst at Van Strum, a V.P. at Channing Corp. and a financial analyst at both Merrill Lynch and AG Edward and Sons. He was a former member of the Weston Field Club and the Gaelic American Club. Arthur was a gifted athlete and participated in the Senior Olympics in both softball and racquetball. He also enjoyed tennis, paddle tennis and playing Bridge. Arthur was a lifelong Dodgers fan dating back to his early years growing up in Brooklyn.
