Arthur Steve Kosloski, Jr., “Cub”, died peacefully at home on June 3, 2024. He was 70 years old.Arthur was born on September 24, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan, one of four children born to Arthur Kosloski, Sr. and Helen (Olney) Kosloski. He graduated from DeWitt High School in 1970 and married Ronda Risk on March 25, 1978. He worked as a skilled tradesman for over twenty seven years, until his retirement in 2012, and was a pipefitter for Plumbers and Pipefitters local 388 for eleven years. Arthur and Ronda lived in Lansing and DeWitt before settling in St. Johns in 1996.Arthur had a fascination with mechanics, an appreciation of puzzles, and most importantly, an unwavering devotion to his family. He had the ability to fix anything, and he had a love for old cars, especially his cherished 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. In his retirement, Arthur found pleasure in the simple joys of life. He enjoyed solving puzzles, a hobby that led to the unique decor of his pole barn, its walls lined with completed puzzles like wallpaper. He was the supportive pillar for his two sons, always ready to lend a hand whenever they needed. His five grandchildren brought a new level of joy and purpose to his life and he cherished time spent with them exploring on the golf cart or swimming in the pool. His partnership with his beloved wife, Ronda, spanned over four decades, a testament to their enduring love. Though he ventured into travel during his retirement years, he was, at heart, a homebody who found contentment in the presence of his family. He was a \”teddy bear\” to those who knew him, and his gentle nature and warm heart will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife forty six years, Ronda Kosloski; two sons, Steven (Sarah) and Erik (Jessica); five grandchildren, Drake and Lacey, Jordyn, Skylar and Hunter; sister, Judy (Tom) Studer; brother, Jeffrey (the late Robin) Kosloski, Sr.; third “son”, Bill Hawk, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry “Butch” Kosloski.
