Our caring and loving father, Arthur Chrapowitzky, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the age of 99. He was married to the late Helen (Michalewicz) Chrapowitzky for 62 years. A devoted father to his three daughters and sons-in-law, Helen Lewandowski and the late Vincent of Kensington, Carol and Francis Perrone of Canton, and Nancy and Keith Mawson of Marietta, GA. He loved his six grandchildren, Mark Lewandowski and his wife Nancy, Brian Lewandowski, Christopher Perrone and his wife Terri, Lisa Perrone and her husband Anthony DeBonee, and Alistair Mawson and his wife Julie and Simon Mawson. He enjoyed his six great grandchildren, Gwyneth and Aaron Lewandowski, Max and Brooke Perrone, and Matthew and Caroline Mawson. He was predeceased by four brothers Eugene, Stanley, John and Robert. After leaving Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, he enjoyed 34 years of retirement. He enjoyed working on cars (before computers), loved fishing, but especially loved vacationing with his family in Swanton, VT. Arthur could fix anything and spent time woodworking and carving. He also traveled with Helen to Europe and his favorite island of Aruba. Our thanks go out to Roger Trerice of Companions and Homemakers and to the Dr. and staff at Msgr.
