Arthur Carl Strasdin of Somers, Montana went to be with his Lord and Savoir on May 03, 2010 in Kalispell, Montana. He had terminal cancer, but is now free from all pain and sickness. He was born on October 07, 1917, in Fallon, Nevada to the late Peter and Libe Strasdin.
Arthur had spent the majority of his life in the farming and dairy industry. Graduating from Churchill County High School he purchased the Fallon, NV farm along with his parents. He has been a member of the Assembly of God Church nearly all his life. In 1946 he was married to his first wife the late Ruth Davis Strasdin. In 1970 he was married to the late Emma Schmick Strasdin.
Arthur’s family would like to thank the staff of Greenwood Village Assisted Living, Frontier Hospice and Comfort Keepers for their loving care of our dear father.
Arthur is survived by his sister Zelma Strasdin and his three children, Paul L. Strasdin, wife Cathy of Fallon, Nevada, Roberta A. Morken, husband Joe of Somers, MT and David C. Strasdin, wife Lynn of Fallon, Nevada. Five grand children; Michele (Strasdin) Byers and Tim Strasdin both of Fallon, Nevada and Julie (Strasdin) Guillen of Sparks, Nevada; Randy Morken of Kalispell, MT and Arthur Morken of Ellensburg, WA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and other relatives.
