Brother Arthur Jimmy (Buddy) Andrews was born to the late Arthur (Jim) and Essie Mae Andrews of Toxey, Alabama on February 10, 1953. He was joined in Holy matrimony to Janice Faye Andrews on August 2, 1980. To this union one child, Javan Andrews was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur (Jim) and Essie Mae Andrews, one sister Juanita Andrews and two brothers, Robert Earl (Sonny) Andrews and Freddie Lee “Shorty” Andrews.
He joined Slaters CME Church at an early age and remained a member until God called him home on December 2, 2015. Buddy will be forever remembered for his good cooking, giving spirit and his unique way of telling you exactly what he thought.
He leaves to cherish his life and precious memories, his wife, Janice Faye Andrews, a son, Javan Andrews and daughter Latonya Smith, all of Mobile, AL. Three sisters, Leila (Willie) Jones, Montgomery, AL, Gwendolyn Lassiter, Butler, AL and Angelia (Frank) Tyson, Hope Hull, AL. Two Brothers, Lyndon Johnson (L.J.) Andrews, Whatley, AL and Larry Joe Andrews, Mobile, AL. Four aunts, Mary Ann Holloway, Mobile, AL, Ruby Lee Edwards, Toxey, AL, Mary Agnes (Willie) Turner, Butler, AL and Bertha Jones, Yantley, AL. Four uncles, Charles “CA” (Faye) Andrews, Mobile, AL, Dennis and George Andrews, Toxey, AL, and John Tyler (Cynthia) Edwards, Meridian, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
