Arthur “Art” Willard Ebright, born August 14th, 1941 to the late Samuel L. Ebright and Betty E. Maurer Ebright, passed away peacefully in his home on December 24th, 2022.
Art was a Vietnam War Veteran, a Detective for the Davie County Sheriff’s Department and later worked at the VA Hospital in Salisbury, NC. He was a member of Sparta Presbyterian Church. Art and his wife Carolyn were avid members of the Holiday Rambler RV Club for many years. He enjoyed camping with friends and traveling. Art was a kind soul with a generous heart. He will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Wetmore Ebright, whom he married on October 8, 1995; brothers Samuel Ebright Jr., Robert Ebright, and Dennis Ebright; sisters-in-law Janie Bowers, Mary Ann Means and Becky Wetmore; brothers-in-law Ralph Dameron, Carl Bowers and Joe Means.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters Leanna Myers (Craig), Kim Collins (Richard), and Kara Graham; grandchildren Zack Myers (Laura), Spencer Graham, Drew Myers, Baili Collins, Chandler Myers, Andie Myers Castano (Zack), Miller Graham, Adison Collins, and Molly Graham; great-grandchildren Campbell Myers, Frankie Myers, and Kylan Jones; sister Cynthia Himmelreich; brothers Michael Ebright and Timothy Ebright; sisters-in-law Jean Dameron and Lynn Shumaker (Alex); brother-in-law Sam Wetmore. and many nieces and nephews.
