Arthur “Art” Dawkins, 55, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, March, 21, 2018.
He was born, in Chicago, May 15, 1962, to the late Fred and Maimie (Goshay) Dawkins, and is survived by former spouse and mother of the children, Chrissandra Moore.
Also surviving are children LaVar (Shanna Bratcher) and Arthesia (Lafaun Davenport) Moore; grandchildren Raven, Reakwon, Tyrecesha and Symona Moore. Siblings James, Diane and Dorothy Dawkins. Kate, Lynn and Fred Dawkins Jr. preceded him in death.
