Arthur A. “Art” Hardebeck, 91 of Dix, formerly of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018.
He was born September 20, 1926 in Millhousen, Indiana, son of George Hardebeck and Rose (Redelman) Hardebeck.
He married Marjorie White in 1959 and she preceded him in death in 1982.
He is survived by a daughter: Susan Hardebeck of Dix; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister: Clara Marie Wagner of Greensburg, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two step-sons: Robin Hall and Terry Hall. Art served in the U.S. Army.
He worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed bowling and he continued to play until the past couple years.
