Arnold Jeffrey Tidwell of Sharpsburg, GA, died Saturday March 10, 2012 after a long battle with heart disease. He was born in Fayette, AL on May 27, 1935 and moved to Atlanta after graduating high school. He attended Georgia State University. He formed a successful Real Estate business in the 1960’s and later became a Real Estate Appraiser and served as IFA President during his career. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Silvie Tidwell and son-in-law Felton Britt. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Tanya B. Tidwell, daughters, Joy D. Britt of Dallas, GA, Pam Enloe (Lee) of Auburn, AL, stepsons, Gene Williams (Sara) of Sharpsburg, GA, Craig Williams (Florie) of Newnan, GA, granddaughters, Amanda and Natalie Enloe and Aliyah Williams, grandsons, Brody and Levi Williams. aunts, Maelene Cowart, Johnnie Mays (Junior), Uncle, Ed Westbrook, cousin Tom Tidwell(Mona) and many others close to his heart. Arnold was blessed to have many loyal and longtime friends, Raymond Gray, John McCarter, Bob Gillham, Joe Snowden, Elvis DeArman and many others. Arnold was a very giving man who loved life and family. We will miss him!
