Arnold “AJay” James Maxwell, Jr. of Redby, Minnesota began his journey to the spirit world on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 from the Miller-Dwan Medical Center in Duluth, MN.
Arnold was born in Bemidji, MN to Deborah (Hobson) and Arnold Maxwell, Sr. on December 19th, 1986. He was raised in Redby and attended school in Red Lake. As a child he liked watching The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Rugrats and CatDog. As a young adult, Arnold worked for the 7 Clans Casino as a security guard and in housekeeping. He was always helping others, going out of his way whenever he could. Family was very important to Arnold. He loved spending as much time with his family as he could, especially his nieces and nephews and hanging out with his baby sister, Michelle. Arnold enjoyed driving his mom and dad to the casino, doing crossword puzzles and riding around with his friends puffing on dro. When he was at home, you could find him watching Pawn Stars, First 48, W.W.E., King of Queens and the Cleveland Show.
Family that Arnold has been reunited with are his brother, James Lee Wills; his sister, Merissa Ann Maxwell; grandpa, George William King; grandparents, Daniel and Doris Hobson; aunties, Doreen Nece and Daileen Atkinson; uncles, Daniel and Darrell “Scud” Hobson; his “Bro”, James Dean Smith, Sr.; and cousins, Calvin and Glenda Norby and Gail Schreifles and other relatives.
He leaves behind his parents, Deborah and Arnold Maxwell, Sr.; sisters, Cheryl (Virgil) Maxwell, Dana (Zachary) Rushman, Danielle (Gregory “Bubba”) Maxwell and Michelle Maxwell all of Redby; grandmother, Betty King; grandfather, David Branchaud; special friend, Marlena Johns; step daughter, Mackenzie Johns; six nieces; nine nephews; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and many “Bros”.
