Armando Rene “Mando” De La O passed away on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.
Mando was born February 13, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to Alfonso and Mary De La O. Surrounded by his loved ones, Mando went with the angels to join his parents; Alfonso and Mary De La O, brother Andy De La O, sister Susanna Cisneros-De La O, nephew Richard Cuellar and great nephew Richard Isaac Cuellar.
Armando will be greatly missed by all that he shared his life with. He was one to open his arms as well as all that he had to anybody in need. Along with his generosity, he cared for his ill mother and helped in the raising of his great nephew, Isaac Cuellar. Mando enjoyed most spending time with his family and friends, watching and attending sporting events, and vacations.
Mando is survived by five brothers, Ernie De La O (Suzy), David De La O (Shirley), Richard De La O, Pascal Gandara (Ruth), Gustavo Gandara (Pilar) and two sisters, Olivia Chavez (Robert), Sylvia Cuellar, 22 nieces and nephews with 38 great-nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews.
