Armanda Maria (Labao) Silveira, 81, of Hopeworth Avenue passed away on January 18, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph Uriel Silveira for 62 years.
Born in Pico de Pedra, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Maria (Alves) Labao. In addition to her loving and devoted husband, she is survived by her daughter Donna Cabral and her husband Edward of Bristol; and her granddaughters: Lauren Cabral and her husband Nicholas DeNardo of Bristol; and Audrey Cabral of Bristol. She was the sister of Margarida Travassos (the late Oliver) of Bristol and the late Albano Labao and Dennis Labao.
Armanda was educated in Portugal and employed by Priscilla Sportswear and American Tourister before retiring. She was a former member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Church.
