Armand Duane Grimaud Jr ‘Butch’ passed away at his home on May 16th, 2019. Butch was born on November 8, 1957 to Armand Duane Grimaud Sr and Marilyn Powell as the oldest of four kids. Butch grew up in West Bountiful and enjoyed riding and showing his horse Bud, as well as team roping with his brother Bobby.
He married his high school sweetheart Sheri Janke and together they had the first two of his four children, Armand Duane Grimaud III and Joshua Thayne Grimaud. They later divorced and he married Katherine Capelli. From this marriage came his third son, Tyson William Grimaud. After divorcing Katherine, he later married Kathy Lee Emery and brought his youngest son, Dylan Reed Grimaud, into the world.
Armand was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brothers Robert Keith and Michael Kent. He is survived by his sister Michelle Grimaud, his four sons, and three grandkids.
Dad had many friends from all walks of life, and he would never hesitate to put others needs before his own. He will be remembered by many as that friend who was always there to listen and talk to in a time of need. He will be missed by his family, friends, and the many people he took in and helped over the years.
