Arliss Jean Drabenstot, 94, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Oakbrook Village, Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Drabenstot was born on August 19, 1923, in Kokomo, IN, to Warren J. and Anna (Butler) Hiatt-Hethcote. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Drabenstot married George G. Drabenstot on January 14, 1947, in Fort Wayne, IN. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1997.
Arliss served in the United States Navy. She was a homemaker. She was a also a member of the First Church of Nazarene, Huntington, IN.
Arliss is survived by 7 children, Patty (Santos) Villanueva, Huntington, IN, Barbara (Bryan Martinson) Lehman, Lakeland, FL, Sandra Thompson, Cromwell, IN, Carol Reed, Cromwell, IN, David Drabenstot, Huntington, IN, Julia (Mike) Pequignot, Ligonier, IN, and Ruth (Charles) Fair, Lake Hills, TX. She is also survived by two brothers, Max (Luella) Hethcote, Merritt Hethcote, both of Huntington, IN; one sister, Janice (John) Kellam, Mt. Etna, IN; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hershel Hethcote, Merrill Hethcote, Dea Hethcote; and three sisters, Melba Milar, Annabel Friend, and Wanda Hunnicutt.
