Arlette Louise Dolin Call, 82 of Caldwell, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. She was born June 17, 1933 to Leon Eugene and Marie Louise Dolin in Paris, France.

Arlette was born and raised in Paris until she met the love of her life, Elbert Vernon Call, who was serving in the U.S. Air Force, and on October 18, 1952, they were married.

Vernon and Arlette had four children: Dale, Kathy, Cindy and Jackie. Arlette spent her life loving and nurturing her children and many grandchildren. She always attended their athletic games and was an avid fan of Boise State University football (especially Kellen Moore).

Arlette was known for her incredible pies, her crust will be forever missed; her other hobbies were crocheting, cooking, knitting, traveling back to Paris, and taking a dip in the Gold Fork Hot Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, her brothers Robert and Christian Dolin, and grandson Gideon Hogg.

Arlette is survived by four children (and spouses) – Dale (Pam) Call, Kathy (George) Hogg, Cindy Lattimer, and Jackie (Clark) Hildebrand. She also leaves behind 16 grandkids and 30.5 great-grandkids, her beloved dog Barney, and her best friend Jacqueline Morel-Lagarde.

We, as a family, would like to thank the West Valley Medical staff and Heart ‘N Home Hospice for their compassionate assistance.
