Passed away peacefully Wednesday evening October 23, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. Arlene was born November 27, 1953 in Traverse City, Michigan a daughter of George and Alice (Bodner) Plamondon. She had been a resident of the Kalamazoo area most of her life.

Arlene had various careers; working as a Postmaster for the United States Postal Service, she was the proprietor of Bountiful Baskets and the Cake N Candy shop before working in retail sales and as an Independent Insurance agent until her recent retirement. She was also a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Richland. Arlene enjoyed gardening, swimming, baking, crocheting and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Plamondon. On February 27, 1987 she was united in marriage to Jacob J. “Jack” Huver who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, David (fiance Courtney Tuinier) Huver of Grand Rapids and Anna Huver of Kalamazoo; a sister, Pauline Plamondon of South Carolina; a brother, Larry (Pat) Plamondon of Delton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arlene will not be defined by the disease that took her but by her lifetime as a loving mother, wife, sister, faithful friend and devoted servant of the Lord.
