ROY- Encircled within the loving embrace of her husband and children, Arlene Carson Okey, 81, passed away on December 10, 2016 to return to her beloved Heavenly Father; her parents;
and two of her sons, Kyle C. and Bradford.
Arlene was born on September 20, 1935 in Lehi, Utah to her adoring parents Eva Mae and George William Carson. Her mother fostered Arlene’s musical talents and love of music from a young age.
Arlene married her eternal companion and beloved husband Shirl K. Okey on October 9, 1953 in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. They lived in American Fork for the first years of their marriage and moved to Roy in 1961, where they have resided since. They have been married 63 years.
Arlene was a true example of selfless love.
