Ardith was born November 5, 1923 in Norfolk the daughter of Alex and Elsie (Villnow) Moldenhauer. She was baptized on November 18, 1923 and confirmed on June 6, 1937 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. She attended country school District 21 in Stanton County, before attending St. Pauls Lutheran School and then graduating from Norfolk Senior High School.
Ardith married Reuben Wacker on November 4, 1945 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. She performed secretarial, bookkeeping, and general office work. She was a lifetime member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and a member of their Ladies Aid Society.
Ardith is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, Judy and Larry Hilkemann of Norfolk, Jeanette and William Moser of Lincoln, and Jean and Donald Mueting of Eagan, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reuben in November 1989, and one brother Leonard Moldenhauer.
