Ardith E. passed away early Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2015, at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on September 10, 1923, in Climax, of Kalamazoo Ardith e daughter of Hessell and Orrell Blodgett Jones.
In 1941, Ardith graduated from Climax High School. On October 4, 1943, she was united in marriage to Dale E. Schieber. Ardith was a member of Galesburg United Methodist Church, Friends of The Galesburg Historical Museum, and Friends of the Galesburg Memorial Library. Surviving are her three children, Cynthia Bill Terry of Kalamazoo, Suzanne Bill Gates of Galesburg, and Bradford Robyn Schieber of Kalamazoo; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jean Jones of Climax.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Dale, in Feb. 2012, and brother, Claire Jones.
