Chester – Archie C. Narreau, 87, passed away July 7, 2020 at home in Chester. Archie was born on October 24, 1932, son to the late Samuel and and Virginia (Ducharme) Narreau. Archie was a born and raised in Springfield, and worked for Eastern Container Corporation for over 35 years before retirement. He enjoyed many trips to Hampton Beach, watching the Red Sox, and fishing. Archie was a communicant of St. Catherine’s of Sienna in Springfield. Archie is survived by his niece and care taker Dian Petersante, her daughter USAFR Major Martha Schmidt and her husband LT. COL Timothy Schmidt. He was the cherished great-grand-uncle to Gunnar Schmidt. He will be dearly missed by sister-in-law Evelyn Narreau, special friends Judy and Paul Young, several nieces and nephews. Archie was predeceased by his 12 siblings.
