April Marie Santana Burke, age 57 of Highwood passed away on, Tuesday November 8, 2022 at Vista East Medical Center, Waukegan, Illinois. She was born June 17, 1965 in Waukegan, Illinois to the union of Geraldo Cesar Santana and Patricia Ann Calhoun. Raised in Highwood, Illinois she was a graduate of Highland Park High School, class of 1983. She was employed as a pharmacy tech at Walgreen’s in Highland Park for over 25 years. In her younger years she worked at the Highland Park K Mart. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose, Highland Park Lodge and was the greatest of fans of the Chicago Cubs.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother Patricia Ann Calhoun Johnson on April 25, 2003.
