April M. Craig, 42, of Pontiac, passed away at 2:45 AM Sunday (August 23, 2015) at O.S.F. St. James Medical Center in Pontiac.
She was born on February 21, 1973 in Pontiac to Dale S. & Gloria (Baker) Craig.
She is survived by her mother, Gloria Propes of Pontiac, her father Dale Craig of Pontiac, a sister, Lisa (Randy) Ruppe of Pontiac; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Aunts: Kay (Jack) Pflegger of Pontiac, Carol (Jackie Harders) Baker of Pontiac; her grandmother, Roberta Craig of Pontiac and her special cat, Sheba.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and stepfather, Terry Propes.
She graduated High School in Bloomington and had taken courses at Heartland College. She had formerly lived at Washington House in Beardstown, IL.
April participated in Special Olympics and had worked at Futures Unlimited in Pontiac.
She loved to swim and go to the movies. April loved her family and never met a stranger. Her warming hugs will be missed by all those who have ever had the opportunity to receive one from her.
