April Lynn Windon Turner, 51, of Suffolk, Va was born on April 5, 1973 and was called home very unexpectedly Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 1 PM at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was predeceased by her big brother, Randy Bigen Windon, Jr. on October 17, 2022.April is survived by her loving husband and very best friend of nearly 25 years, Keith C. Turner of Suffolk, VA; mother and father in law, Estelle and Jerry Turner; brother in law, Gary Turner; sister in law, Shelia Turner all of Suffolk, VA. In addition, she is survived by her parents, Randall and Doris Windon of Rainelle, W.V.; sister in law, Heather Windon of Rainelle, W.V.; aunt Vickie Adkins of Smoot, W.V.; and special cousins, Mark Adkins, Anita Ennis, Melody Adkins Brown, Jennifer Windon, and several other cousins and countless friends in the great state of West Virginia. Also survived by her two very best lifelong friends whom she truly loved like sisters, Dodie Callison of Villa Ricca, G.A. and Candy Hunter of W.V..April loved the Dallas Cowboys and WV Mountaineers football teams and is now in Almost Heaven, W.V.. She was a one of a kind and will be sorely missed by all. She loved all of her fur kids, past and present, and is now reunited with them and her big brother.Your wings were ready but my heart was not.
