April Smith Turney, age 41, of Vass, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
April was born in Moore County on April 3, 1981, to Teresa Denise Garner and the late Calvin Ray Smith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Dillon Turney, sister, Christy Garner.
April spent her working career in the medical field. She was a people person, she love making people happy and serving them in any way possible.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ken Turney; children, Makayla Turney, Logan Ray Turney, Dawson William Turney; a very special friend for life, Mike Crabtree of Vass.
