April Alicia Walker affectionately known to family and friends as “Tutsa” was born on July 27, 1969 in Jamaica Queens New York to Johnny & Rose Walker, she was the 3rd of five daughter’s.
April was educated in Jamaica Queens New York, after graduating high school she furthered her studies and achieved Certification from New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
April was employed by Coler Goldwater Hospital on Roosevelt Island for over 18 years and passionate about serving the patients, co-workers and in her community.
April’s one and only son Terrel affectionately known as “Tego” whom she loved and adored, loved to sit and watch movies together and listen to various types of music.
