Anwar Bacchus was born March 6, 1938, in Shitanka Berbice, Guyana then spent the second half of his life living with his family in Port St. Lucie, FL. The past eight months were very difficult as his health declined.
He passed away peacefully on January 23, 2019, surrounded in love with his devoted family. During his lifetime he spent his days working extremely hard as a surveyor and always seeking new and interesting enterprises as a business owner. Beyond the day-to-day enterprises, he was a loving husband, devoted father, and provider.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; son, Sean Anwar Bacchus, daughter, Alea Ann Bacchus; and brother, Mursaline Bacchus.
