Antonio S. Elizondo, age 73, went home to be with the Lord May 4, 2022 at Santa Rosa Medical Center in San Antonio. He was born and raised in Harlingen. Tony had seven brothers and sisters. He was a real jokester and always the life of the party, He enjoyed making people laugh and had a great sense of humor. He was also a hard worker, he retired from the City of Harlingen where he worked with the waterworks dept. for 20+ years.His favorite pastimes were playing softball in the Harlingen Men’s League and was an avid fan of the WWE Wrestling Federation.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ernestina ‘Tina’ Gonzalez and Rebecca Garcia and a sister in law, Linda Abrego.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his loving wife of 53 years, Inocencia V. Elizondo, their four children, Antonio Elizondo Jr. (Debbie), Gloria Elizondo, Joe David Elizondo (Jessica) and Oscar Elizondo (Ana); Grandchildren, Jordan, Josiah, Olivia, Amanda, Alyssa, Daniella, Jordan, Michael, Juliana, April, ‘Zeke’ Ezekiel, and Lariza; Great Grandchildren, Mason, Ehlieus Blu, Milexy, Stormi, Gabriella, Eastyn and Elliiot. His siblings, Ernesto Abrego, Maria Robertson, Yolanda Palacios (Jose) and Jose David Elizondo. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
