Antonio Rendon Carmona, age 70, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
He was born January 4, 1952, in Harlingen to Jose Anselmo Carmona and Matea Elida Rendon. Antonio was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served four Tours of Duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. HooRah! He worked with Homeland Security as a Border Patrol Agent for several years. Antonio was also a member of the American Legion Post 205 of Harlingen and VFW Post 2410 of San Benito. Antonio was a very loving and kind man. He was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle and friend He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his humor, love for family and his saying famous saying “Shoot Yeah”.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his wife, Maria E. Carmona; daughter, Cristina Michelle Carmona Abercrombie; siblings, Jose Carmona Jr. (Celina), Juan Manuel Carmona, Rafael Carmona (Maggie), Lupita Cantu (Robert), Elly McFarland (Mike); along with numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
