Antonio D. “Tony” Giguere, 88, of Milford, beloved husband of Angelina (Sebastino) Giguere, departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Milford Hospital. Tony was born on June 4, 1918 in North Adams, MA son of the late Deus and Rosemary (Raymond) Giguere. Tony served in the Army during World War II after being honorably discharged he obtained his degrees from Blackstone College and Williams College. Tony worked as the Finance Director for the City of Milford from 1966 until his retirement in 1984. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling and golfing. Tony will be sadly missed by his loving wife Angelina of Milford and their three children: Marlene Galipeau and her husband Louis of Alabama, Robert Giguere and his wife Sandra of Milford and Sharon Fowler and her husband Paul of Missouri. Tony is also survived by a brother, Sylvio Giguere of Woonsocket, RI. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Robert, Jolene, and Matthew Giguere, Darlene and Derek Galipeau, and Alfred and Craig Fowler along with four great grandchildren.
