Antonio “Paco” R. Arzola, Jr., 60, of Bayard passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Paco, as he was affectionately known, was born on November 24, 1959 to Antonio C. Arzola and Lydia R. Arzola in Silver City. He was very well liked by everyone. Paco worked for the Cobre Schools, was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Celtics and the Cincinnati Reds. His prayers were dedicated to the Virgin de Guadalupe, America needs Fatima, and he attended mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Bayard. Paco will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Paco is survived by his loving wife, Irene of 20 years; mother Lydia R. Arzola; sons, Antonio Arzola III (Sonia), Gabriel Arzola, Paul Arzola, David True; daughters, Maria Arzola, Jeannette True and Jennifer True; one brother, Michael E. Arzola; sisters, Diane Silva, Dolores Lucero (Carlos), Barbara Carbajal (David); brother in law, Pete Madrid. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nephew and nieces that loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio C. (Paco) Arzola; in-laws, Ysidro and Ramona Madrid; grandparents, Estanislado and Emilia Arzola, Manuel and Maria Gutierrez. A brother in law, Jesus Madrid; uncles and aunts, Robert Gallardo, Rudy Gutierrez, Manuel Rivera, Ruben and Antonia Arzola, Joe and Sarah Martinez, Angel and Manuela Alvarado; nephew, Carlos Lucero; cousins, Ernie Arzola, Paul Rodriguez and Virginia Rodriguez.
