Antoni Korza, 93, of New Britain, the loving husband of Monika (Piotrowska) for 67 years, passed away peacefully due to a heart condition at the Hospital of Central CT on Monday, February 15, 2021, surrounded by his family. Born in Poland, son of the late Stanislaw and Michalina Korza, he was a mechanic and leather tradesman. When he and his family came to the United States in 1963, they lived in Hatfield, MA for two years. They later moved to New Britain and he worked as a machinist for Atlantic Machine Tool in Newington where he retired after many years of dedicated service. He was a very religious man and parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Antoni was a talented man who loved to work with his hands, whether working on his Chevy or tending to his garden, especially the tomatoes. For leisure, he would love to go on fishing trips. Antoni was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was happiest when surrounded by family and especially when spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A fun loving, sociable and caring man, he is and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his beloved wife Monika, he leaves his son George and his wife Barbara of Bristol; his daughters Christine Adorno and her husband Gino of New Britain and Jane Wilson and her husband Christopher of Utah; his grandchildren: Kevin Korza, Iwona Serwinski and her husband Paul of Bristol, and Evan and Alex Wilson of Utah; his great-grandchildren: Maja, Tomek and Karolina Serwinski; his sister, Jadwiga Roszkowska of New Britain and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, both here and in Poland. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his five siblings.
