Anton (Tony) Selensky, 86, of Anaconda, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Community Hospital of Anaconda of natural causes. Tony was born February 27, 1928 in Selz, North Dakota to John and Eva (Keller) Selensky. He was the seventh out of ten children. Tony received his education in Selz and was raised on the family farm. Tony worked for the B.N. Railroad and joined the military during the Korean War, receiving an Honorable Discharge. Tony married the love of his life, Florence Fettig, upon being discharged from the service, whom he was engaged to before being called to serve his country. Florence and Tony moved to Anaconda in 1955 where employment on the smelter was obtained for 28 years, retiring in 1985. Tony and Florence were married for 61 years and blessed with five children.

Tony enjoyed playing pinochle, cribbage, keno, and watching the Denver Broncos and the Montana Grizzlies. His hobbies included travel to family locations and serving as the Financial Secretary for the Old Timers Club.

Tony is survived by Florence, his children Clarence (Cathy) Selensky, Randy (Carrie) Selensky, Janine (Les) Franklin, and Julie (John) Grubich; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Dedrick, Selina, Joshua, David, Kimberly, Alaina, Tisha, and Nicolette; and ten great grandchildren. The family would also like to acknowledge the special friendship and caring of neighbors Roger and Kathy Hintz. He is also survived by four siblings, Eva Selensky-Vetter, Barbara Selensky-Kline, Helen (Selensky) Hoffert, and Angie (Selensky) Golembeck.

Tony was preceded in death by his son Myron Selensky, his parents, and his siblings, Rochus Selensky, Katie Selensky, Rose (Selensky) Hoffert, Marie (Selensky) Laturnus, Raymond Selensky, and Frank Selensky.
