Anthony Wallace ”Tony” Carpenter, 56, Anderson, died November 19, 2002 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born January 16, 1946 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He has lived in this area since 1964.
He previously owned and operated Anthony Carpenter Brick Masonary Company. He was a member of 30th Street Church of God in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He loved to write songs and play his guitar. He loved all God’s little creatures. He was an avid fisherman. He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather and was a precious beloved son to his mother. The family would like to give a special Thank You to St. John’s Health System Hospice.

Kathy Marie & husband Bud Surface of Alexandria. Norma Bea & husband David Schmink of Camp LeJune, North Carolina. Five Brothers: John William & wife Janice Carpenter of Richmond, Virginia. Estle Paul Carpenter of Indiana. Phillip Thomas Carpenter of Marion. Virgil Casper Carpenter of Indiana. David DeForest & wife Linda Carpenter of Indianapolis.
