Loving grandfather of Christine and Andrew Tumminia, Cathy Mazak (Guillermo Ortz Colon) and Susan (Ryan) Berkelbach and great grandfather of Mariana, Guillermo, Mariela, Liam and Isaac.Mr. Tumminia was a 1935 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where he excelled in football and track and after high school for Zuni semi-pro football team. He was also a World War II U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Tumminia was one of the founders of the Whitman Park Youth Association where helped build the baseball field and was active in coaching.
