Anthony T. Corso, 89, formerly of 48 Clark St., New Haven passed away March 15, 2013. Born in New Haven on July 13, 1923, he was the son of the late Thomas “Young T. Corso” and Angelina Ciancola was a retired tool and die maker, having worked for the former A.C. Gilbert Co. at Erector Square and for more than 30 years at BIC Corporation. He was a well known bowler in the New Haven area. During World War II, he served in the US Navy aboard the USS South Dakota in the Asiatic-Pacific War Theater. He is survived by two brothers, Frank (Mary )  Corso of West Haven and Salvatore (Madeline) Corso of East Haven; several nieces & nephews, as well as his dear friends, the members of the Mark & Emily Granata family, including god children, Dona, Mark & Etta Granata and Marcy Granata Currier. He was predeceased by four brothers, Stephen A., Joseph, Charles and Leon Corso; three sisters, Frances Corniello, Florence “Flossie” Amatruda and Miss Peggy Corso; and his lifelong companion, Regina Kruk., 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Tuesday, March 19th at 9:20.St.
