Anthony Rosabella, 85, of Bristol, widower of Mildred (Raffaneillo) Rosabella, his wife for over 60 years, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Nursing Care Center in Bristol. Anthony was born August 6, 1921, in New Rochelle, NY, a son of the late Leonard and Antoinette Rosabella.
Anthony graduated from New Rochelle High School in New York. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II. He was employed by Northeast Utilities until his retirement in 1984. After he retired, he worked on a part time basis for Ryder Bus Co., and Nuchie’s Restaurant.
His survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Cliff Gorneault of Bristol, and Tina Rosabella and her husband Mark Rubins of Southington, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vincent and Katherine Rosabella of Southbury, and John and Carol Rosabella of New Rochelle, NY, grandchildren, Jason Gorneault and his wife Janice, Jeremy Rosabella, Lara Nichols and her husband Tom, and Zoey Rubins, great grandchildren, Ava and Abagail Gorneault, and Tommy, Ella and Kyla Nichols, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Grace Tani. Cheap shoes, good booze! We love you Dad!
