Anthony Michael Colon, age 23, of Salem, died at 7:52 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown following an auto accident. He was born September 10, 1990 in Youngstown, the son of Tommy Colon and Michele (Scullion) Walla. He was a member of the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church. He was a 2009 graduate of Salem High School, and a member of the high school choir and chamber choir. Anthony was very caring and giving and he loved children and animals. He loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Michele and Dave Walla of Salem; father and stepmother, Tommy and Rita Colon of Hanoverton; a brother, Andrew Walla of Salem; a stepbrother, Frank Day of Hanoverton; three stepsisters, Samatha Day of Alliance, April (Jeff) Michael of Austintown, and Angela (Stephen) Suszczynski of Youngstown; maternal grandmother, Jessica Scullion of Salem; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paternal grandparents, Nick and Ida M. Colon and maternal grandfather, Thomas Scullion preceded him in death.
