Anthony M. “Sonny” Marchitto, 80 of 540 Dogwood Road, Orange, passed away Sept. 10, 2009 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Frances Maturo Marchitto. Mr. Marchitto was born in New Haven Oct. 10, 1928, son of the late Anthony A. and Carmela Vastola Marchitto. He was a self employed building contractor and developer, operating Mark Construction Co., and, later worked as the Building Inspector for the Town of Orange until his retirement. At one time, he was associated with National Lumber Co. in North Haven.
