Anthony Lee, 63, transitioned at his home in the Bronx, New York after a short struggle with heart disease.

Anthony was born March 31, 1957 in the Bronx to the late Eugene and Carol Lee (Callender). He was raised in Frederick Douglas Houses in New York City. Upon finishing school, he started employment with the State of New York Liquor Authority, and moved around to other positions of security within the state until he retired. As he worked in different areas, he was able to build a network of extended family, to add to the close friends he called family, that he grew up with in the neighborhood. Everyone that knew him, knew his admiration for science fiction and the imagination that went along with it. He loved music, good movies, and history. He always had some kind of story to tell that would have you believing him until he couldn’t hold his laugh anymore. Anthony loved to socialize with family and friends, and enjoyed a good meal.

Anthony is survived by his daughters Dena and Cheryl. His oldest daughter Iyin predeceased him. His sister Cheryl, and brother Christopher, son in law Michael, grandsons Dahmani, Michael, and Amir. Brother in law Butch. Nieces Amanda, Anita, Jordain, Nia (predeceased), and nephew, Christopher IV; great nieces, Sanaa and Ariah; Aunts Marguerite and Vivian; and Uncle Claude. Along with a host of cousins.

Special acknowledgement to Mamie H., Christine R., Geneva R., and their families for always being there. Melvin, Jap, Sandy, Vickie, Anita, Butchie, Junior, Angie and everyone else………….for always taking those deep breaths.
