Tony was born on November 2, 1944, to the late Anthony and Helen Chernik. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and later found his roots in Georgia. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree and went on to become a proud business owner. Tony was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Chernik and Helen Shury Chernik. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, his children Todd Chernik (Christine), Troy Chernik (Kristen), and Tressa Mild (Christian), his siblings Gloria Galdun (Joseph) and Alan Zaitz (deceased), and his grandchildren, Ethan, Sarah, Madelyn, and Christian Jr.
