Rapisardo1943~2020Anthony “Woody” Joseph Rapisardo, 77, passed away Saturday, November 28th, 2020 in his Broomall home surrounded by his family. Born on April 26th, 1943 in South Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Benjamin Rapisardo and Marie Fuscellaro, and step-son of Dominic was the husband of 58 years to Phyllis (Massarella) Rapisardo. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Diane Rapisardo of Lititz, Pennsylvania; a son, Anthony Rapisardo (Linda); two daughters, Christine Aron (Nicholas) and Phyllis Russo (Kevin); and seven grandchildren: Angela Russo, Kevin Russo Jr., Tina Aron, Nicholas Aron, and Anthony Russo. In addition, Woody was close to his two brother in-laws, the late Samuel Massarella andRichard Massarella (Rochelle); his nieces and nephews: Lisa Booth (Rich), Lori Massarella, Robert Massarella (Sherry), Sammy Massarella (Vince Roy), Beth-Ann Massarella (Leon Orshanski), and Steven MassarellaHe lived in Darby, Pennsylvania until moving to his home in Broomall in 2000. He retired from Gateway Rehabilitation Services in 2014. Woody was an avid bowler, enjoyed hunting in Potter County, PA, and loved spending his summers with his family and friends on the Delaware shore. Woody was a kind and unassuming man who touched everyone he met. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and unyielding generosity.
