Anthony J. Tomasone, of Burlington, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Virtua-Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly, at the age of 80. He was born in Nagney, PA, raised in Beverly until 1950 and lived most of his adult life in Burlington. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War Two.
Tony had worked for various manufacturing companies in the area, the last of which was Hordis Brothers Glass Company, in Pennsauken. He was a devoted family man who loved to babysit for his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he was a devout Notre Dame football fan.
Mr. Tomasone is survived by his wife, Genevieve (nee Karczmarski), his children, Felice Astor Tomasone. of Bordentown, Phillip A. Tomasone, of Marlton, and Anne Tomasone, of Aston, PA, his grandchildren, Larkin E. Cugnitti, Angela (Beau) Spears, and Alex Tomasone, his great grandchildren, Ricky O’Keefe and Ashton Spears, his sister, Lena Camiscioni and his brother, Egiddio Tomasone.
