Anthony J. Perugino of Palm Springs. FL and Bristol. CT, entered into rest on Sept. 1, 2017. He was born on Feb. 3, 1917, the son of the late Dominic and Christine Cistare Perugino.
Mr. Perugino served heroically in World War II with the Army Signal Corps and was the recipient of the prestigious French Legionnaires Medal of Honor for his outstanding efforts in effecting their liberation .He subsequently was employed at Wallace Barnes as an office manager until his retirement. He leaves his sisters Ann Perugino of Bristol, CT and Irene (John ) Velardo of Terryville, CT and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Lucy Sapia, Josephine Ciociola, Antoinette Bourbeau, Florence Keltonic, and his brothers Pasquale, Leonard and Dominic Perugino, Jr.A man of great faith and honor, he touched the hearts of all who met him.
