Anthony J Estrada went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2021 after a brief illness. Born to proud parents Candelario “Candy” and Cedelia “Sadie” Estrada on April 16, 1957, who precede him in death. Also preceded in death by his son Aaron Anthony Estrada, brother Candelario “Sonny” Estrada Jr., nephews Rashawn Estrada and Ezekiel Fresquez, niece Everleigh Mayer, Grandparents and other family members.
Anthony along with his siblings were owners of Candy’s Tortilla Factory which was started by his parents in 1957 until the company was sold to Mission Foods. He was a true entrepreneur and started Estrada Foods, a frozen food manufacturing company in 1997. Anthony as a teenager right out of high school, would call on other tortilla manufacturers to ask questions as how to make tortillas that could be sold to high use restaurants and to make a retail tortilla that would sustain in the grocery stores. Because these owners had never been asked or approached like that before they would actually answer his questions and give him advice. He always respected and admired these people for their kindness and leadership.
Anthony the class of 1975 – South High Colts – he remained friends with so many of his classmates to this day and he would always bring up memories of all the good times he had growing up.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son Marcus, Lorrie Estrada mother of his sons, sisters Penny Garcia, Vicki Estrada, Elsie (Dan) Lopez, Caroline (Danny) Fresquez, brother Candelario “Jess” (Dawnee) Estrada. He is also survived by his special nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, Godchildren and a host of other family and lifelong friends. He also leaves his friend and mentor, Mr. Jay Spivak.
