Anthony J. DeFelice of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on October 24, 2020 at the age of seventy-four. Anthony was born on December 17, 1945 in Waltham to Muriel DeFelice of Waltham and the late Anthony DeFelice, Sr. He was the beloved husband of Yvette (Richard) DeFelice; loving father of Anthony DeFelice III and his wife Dirlene of Plymouth, Steven DeFelice and his wife Susan of Plymouth and Brian DeFelice and his wife Theresa of Braintree. He was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Marc, Sophia, Rosie, and Benjamin DeFelice. He was the brother of James DeFelice and Patty of Ashland and sister of Nancy Santolucito and her husband William of Waltham. Anthony grew up in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1963. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he proudly served his country as a Corporal until his honorable discharge in 1969. While serving in the Marine Corps he received the National Defense and Good Conduct Medal. After his discharge from the military he went on to run his family’s business, DeFelice Movers in Waltham with his father, brother and sons. He also owned and operated alongside his wife, Yvette, Tomorrow’s Treasures, a furniture store located in Quincy. Anthony worked for the City of Quincy as a Custodian at the Thomas Crane Library until his retirement. You could often find Anthony selling his wares at the Antique Festivals in Brimfield and Wellfleet. He played the accordion as a member of the “Solid Gold” band and he taught lessons.
