Mr. Anthony George, age 82, devoted husband of Mamie Watson George, passed away on September 1, 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the son of the late Anthony and Agusta Niefelt George and was born on December 17, 1923 in Maspeth, NY. Anthony worked for many years at Bohack Supermarkets, Long Island City, NY. He retired from London Towncars, Long Island City, NY. He was a member of The Masonic Star of Hope Lodge and became Master of the Lodge in 1963. He was devoted to his family and had a genuine love for animals especially his beloved Black Lab mix, ?Kayla?. He is survived by two daughters, Gwen George-Perrone of Milford, Karen Jencius and her husband Stephen of Cape Cod, two loving grandchildren, Daniel Perrone and Meagan Jencius, one sister, Marilyn Buhlmaier of West Palm Beach, FL., one brother, Alfred George of Corona, NY. He is pre-deceased by his brother, Charles George.
