Waterbury – Mr. Anthony R. Daddona, age 91, of Waterbury, passed away at his home on Monday January 19, 2015. He was the husband, for 64 years, of Lois (Keiper) Daddona. Mr. Daddona was born in Waterbury on May 25, 1923 son of the late Nicola and Josephine (Ianantuoni) Daddona. He was a graduate of Crosby High School, a Cum Laude graduate of the New Haven School of Physical Therapy, and attended Arnold College and UCONN. He worked at the New Haven Curative Workshop, was a Plant Supervisor at Wells Tube Mill and Retired from Century Brass as Director of Industrial Engineering. He was very active in Waterbury politics having served under five different Mayors. Mr. Daddona proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army having served in the European Theater during World War II. In addition to his wife, Mr. Daddona is survived by a daughter: Suzanne Dionne and her husband Gary of Woodbury, three grandchildren: Jaime, Erica, and Nicole and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons: Wayne and Bruce Daddona and a daughter: Michelle Daddona.
