Norwich – Anthony D. Martin, Sr., 78, beloved husband of Juanita (Penha) Martin, of Sturtevant St., died Wednesday morning at the Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center. Born in Wareham, MA, he was the son of the late Antone and Minnie (Williams) Martin.
Mr. Marin worked for many years as a construction worker for various companies.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years Juanita Martin; a son Anthony D. Martin, Jr. of Norwich, a daughter Tina Annette Martin of Norwich, two brothers Ernest Martin of CA and Joseph Martin of MA, six sisters Dolores Sequaria of MA, Beverly Bingham of MA, Lorraine Andrade of MO, Barbara Martin of MA, Joyce Evora of MA, and Sheila Fontes of MA. He was predeceased by a sister Pauline Fontes.
