Mrs. Annie Rob Hubbard Ford, age 73, of Lanett, Al., passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Al.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her four children, Richard Shane (Frances) Ford of Pendergrass, Ga., Tommy (Gail Smith) Ford of Marietta, Ga., Leigh Ann Colley of Lanett, and Amanda Rob (Bradley) Frye of Lexington, S.C.; six grandchildren, Thomas Daniel Ford, Maggie Susanne Ford, Jeremy Wayne Colley, Jonathan Lee Colley, Benjamin Parker Frye, and Bruen Preslee Frye; brother, Eugene Hubbard; sisters, Nancy Lasitter and Diane Burnham; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Ford was born on November 8, 1940 in Anniston, Al. She was a long time resident of Lanett, living in the community for 49 years. She was a very active member of Happy Valley Baptist Church. She loved the hobby of ceramics and had an amazing talent for it. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time in the Tennessee mountains and had a world class collection of Santa Clauses.
