Annie M. Fox, 93, of Fortville, passed away on January 24, 2011 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born December 15, 1917 in Irvine, KY to the late Henry M. and Mary Lucy (Richardson) Witt. Annie worked at Carhart Corporation for 12 years and retired from the former Western Electric Plant in Indianapolis after 14 years service. She was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship and Fortville Senior Citizens. Throughout her life Annie traveled the Tri-State area with many quartets as a pianist, she also taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and quilt making.
She is survived by daughters: Caroline (Larry) Hadley of Oaklandon, Betty (Loren) Littrell of Rushville and Linda (Jerry) Lamaster of Fortville; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Beulah Hall of Irvine, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Annie was preceded in passing by her husband Otis P. Fox in 1981; brother Bert Witt; and sisters Edith Tuttle and Doretta Brooks.
